Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Menuzio platform. By creating an account or embedding our widget, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

Menuzio” refers to the company operating menuzio.ca. “You” refers to the subscribing restaurant. “End customer” refers to the person placing an order on your site.

2. Service provided

Menuzio provides cloud software that lets your restaurant accept online orders, print kitchen tickets, manage delivery zones, and run an iPad POS. Menuzio is not a food carrier or preparer. Preparation, quality and delivery of food remain entirely your responsibility.

3. Payments

End-customer payments are processed in person (cash or credit card with the delivery driver or in-store). Menuzio does not collect money on your behalf and does not store any credit card numbers.

You pay Menuzio a fixed monthly subscription fee based on your chosen plan (see pricing). No per-order commission.

4. Term and termination

Subscriptions are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@menuzio.ca. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

6. Intellectual property

The Menuzio software, brand and code belong to us. You retain full ownership of your menu, photos and brand. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display them in the ordering widget we operate on your behalf.

7. Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime. Scheduled downtime is announced in advance. Menuzio is not liable for indirect losses caused by an outage, but will issue a prorated credit if downtime exceeds 4 consecutive hours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Menuzio’s liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the past 12 months. Menuzio is never liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data.

9. Personal data

Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable Canadian federal laws. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
